Dr. Butchart is a native of Buffalo, New York. Dr. Butchart is the proud parent of two sons Zachary and Harrison.

A graduate of the State University of New York School of Dental medicine Dr. Butchart completed a general practice residency at the VA Medical center at Bay Pines , Florida before completing a three year residency in Orthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. While a resident Dr. Butchart was selected as Chief Resident by the program director and received the Leo M. Davidoff award from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine for his efforts in the teaching of other residents two consecutive years. Dr. Butchart is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Butchart has experience in all types of orthodontic treatment including the use of lingual and Invisalign appliances. His training at Montefiore also included extensive exposure to craniofacial disorders and surgical orthodontics.
